Position Summary:

Bold Orange is seeking a bold, strategic, curious spirit to join our growing, human-led, purposeful, brave, and future focused agency. As the Paid Social Strategist, you can expect to collaborate with the best of the best to identify, manage, and execute agency and client initiatives that result in forward thinking, top notch, customer experience solutions. The Paid Social Strategist, who is forever curious and always thinking about “what’s next”, will develop and implement impactful tactical plans for our clients. They are expected to have a strong working knowledge of key paid social platforms, how to manage campaigns and the strengths of each platform (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.) Additional experience in planning/buying programmatic or Google Ads is a bonus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, launch, and optimize cross-channel social media strategies via a range of social media platforms, taking into account other tactics including display advertising and re-targeting. 
  • Drive strategic alignment with all media stakeholders to ensure client’s strategic approach is integrated into all paid media including content, messaging, and creative 
  • Create campaigns using best practices to gain relevancy and innovative ideas to stand out among the competition. 
  • Reimagines what “media” means in a rapidly changing world - current with emerging trends. 
  • Manage budgets and results across multiple platforms. 
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to uncover and craft actionable insights to drive continued campaign performance 
  • Develop testing strategies to ensure decisions and optimizations are data and market driven. 
  • Present to clients in educational capacities, explaining the recommendations to clients with varying levels of maturity in digital marketing. 
  • Stay informed on the latest thinking and best practices around digital marketing trends, media buying and attribution to identify potential new channels/strategies to keep us ahead

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience, digging into details, providing recommendations, and delivering measurable results. 
  • Agency experience strongly preferred. 
  • Strong Meta Ads campaign management chops, ideally with ecommerce experience 
  • Possess a data-driven mindset 
  • Exhibit strong decision-making, organization, time-management, planning, and problem-solving skills 
  • Equal parts big thinker and a big doer 
  • Have an understanding of digital marketing and the implications that technology has on developing strategies and execution plans. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment 
  • Possess excellent communication skills – verbal and written 
  • Possess communication skills with internal resources and clients to explain and justify paid media strategies and recommendations. 
  • Can demonstrate strong presentation capabilities for data driven solutions, explaining the recommendations to clients with varying levels of maturity in digital marketing and business maturity. 
  • Are relatable, persuasive, and fluent in cross-channel digital marketing strategies and technologies in person and via phone/email
