Job Overview:

We’re seeking a strategic, people-first Part-Time Analytics Team Lead to help elevate our growing analytics function at Augurian. In this part-time leadership role, you will manage a small team of analysts, optimize foundational processes, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data and measurement are seamlessly integrated into our services.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & People Development

  • Provide day-to-day management, mentorship, and professional development for a small team of analysts.
  • Guide execution and quality of analytics deliverables including client reporting, measurement, and implementation tasks.
  • Act as the primary liaison between analytics and internal teams (Paid Media, Organic Search, and Strategy), fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management efforts as the team grows.

Process Development & Operational Support

  • Design, document, and scale foundational analytics processes for recurring and ad-hoc work.
  • Train cross-functional teams to handle basic analytics tasks (e.g., GA4 configuration, Looker dashboards).
  • Help uphold agency-wide standards in tracking, reporting, and data governance.
  • Identify and champion opportunities for operational efficiencies and process clarity.

Client & Project Collaboration

  • Partner with account teams to understand business goals and shape corresponding analytics support.
  • Support planning, prioritization, and resource allocation for analytics work.
  • Provide consultative input during client strategy discussions, particularly around measurement plans and reporting deliverables.

About You:

  • You bring 3–5+ years of experience in digital analytics, including time managing or mentoring analysts.
  • You’re skilled in GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and other marketing analytics platforms.
  • You’re energized by coaching and leading others and supporting our Service's teams, improving systems, and solving problems through better process design.
  • You value collaboration and transparency and thrive in environments that center on impact, clarity, and shared learning.
  • You’re looking for part-time work (flexible hours) while contributing meaningfully to a high-functioning and growth-minded team.

Additional Details:

  • Status: Part-Time (Estimated 20 hours per week)
  • Location: Generally Remote (St. Paul, MN HQ Tuesday’s are office days.)
  • Reports To: VP of Operations & People
  • Compensation: Commensurate with experience, prorated for part-time.
