The Photographer I helps maintain and develop Q’s world-class collection of bicycle, parts & accessories photography — from studio shots of small enthusiast parts to location-based commercial work, performing roughly 70% product photography in studio and 30% lifestyle photography inside and outside. This position will have the opportunity to work on our whole portfolio of popular in-house brands including Salsa, Surly and All-City. The Photographer I conceptualizes, captures, creates and prepares photographic images to display in a variety of published mediums. This position selects and assembles equipment according to subject material, anticipated conditions, and has good knowledge of the function of various types of cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and accessories. From a day in the backcountry shooting fast-paced action to an afternoon in-studio exploring lighting techniques, this job has a lot of variety and unlimited potential.
