Summary of Major Responsibilities:

The Pipeline Activation Manager will be responsible for developing and executing downstream multi-channel tactics to support initial launch of Pipeline products. This role will build HCP and patient promotional materials and collateral, peer to peer content, and educational programs. They will collaborate with other members in the Pipeline organization, as well as across the company. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding collaboration and project management skills including the ability to manage without authority. They will also show the ability to communicate complex clinical information effectively with medical professionals, field-based teams, and external agency partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive execution of tactical initiatives to support the launch of Pipeline products in their initial phases. 
  • Work cross-functionally with Medical Affairs to develop educational content to support providers and patients and to help drive awareness of solutions. 
  • Ensure coordinated efforts for product launch. 
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of external agency partners and manage the budget. 
  • Develop salesforce tools and promotional resources/campaigns needed to drive awareness and stimulate adoption of Pipeline products in initial launch phases. 
  • Collaborate with congress lead to ensure seamless execution of defined tactics at regional & national congresses. 
  • Collaborate with Commercial Analytics team to ensure appropriate analytical plans are developed and measured. 
  • Ability to motivate and lead teams of cross-functional resources in a matrixed organization with competing priorities, with or without direct authority or reporting relationships. 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize strategies, initiatives, and workload proactively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 
  • Exceptional project management skills including coordination, communication and adherence to budget and completion goals, prioritization and troubleshooting. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. 
  • Strong marketing/business acumen and ability to process complex clinical information. 
  • Adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations with some direction and respond to new information and unexpected circumstances.

  • Ability and means to travel between (either Madison or Red Wood City) locations. 
  • Ability to travel 25% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life science, marketing, business, or related field; or high school degree/general education diploma and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. 
  • 6+ years of commercial experience (e.g. marketing, sales, new product planning, reimbursement, etc.) working in or closely with KOLs and field force. 
  • Basic computer skills to include Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. 
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. 
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or MS in life science, marketing, business, or related field of study. 
  • 8+ years of commercial experience (e.g. marketing, sales, new product planning, reimbursement, etc.) working in or closely with KOLs and field force. 
  • Diagnostic/device/pharmaceutical marketing, sales, and/or healthcare reimbursement experience. 
  • Demonstrated ability to present to and influence senior leadership (VP level). 
  • Previous experience working with KOLs and ability to process complex clinical information.
