OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced digital Media Planner to join the team in a new role in the Enterprise Performance Marketing team. This individual will assist Senior members of the team to build and onboard tools, tech and capabilities. This includes project execution, internal and external partnership with partners. This role will have the ability to help build growth across the enterprise. There will be opportunities to assist in leading world class capabilities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to understand, build and train key media tools, tech and partners to solve brand and retail team needs across General Mills. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally internally at General Mills to service the business 
  • Work with Assistant Managers, agencies, and tech partners in support of brands to steward ad dollars against fraud, viewability and other key media standards 
  • Advise brand and retail teams on creating and optimizing shoppable media experiences 
  • Ensure delivery of Performance Marketing principles and targets 
  • Work in partnership with the global COE on establishment of tools, tech, capabilities 
  • Support business plans by delivering on necessary action steps with personal ownership 
  • Produce excellent work on the given programs with the willingness to be flexible and agile as priorities are stretched, new projects are given, and as roles evolve

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, communications or related field 
  • 2+ years digital marketing experience at an agency or consumer-focused marketing organization 
  • Understanding of digital and search media, including media planning and activation, ad serving and tracking tools, tag management systems, reporting and analytics 
  • Exposure to data segmentation and targeting 
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and verbal/written communication skills 
  • Experience managing agency and/or third-party relationships 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Strong troubleshooting skills 
  • Should thrive in scenarios with high expectations, ambiguity and many stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in data-driven analysis or digital marketing role for large brands 
  • Hands on experience with data segmentation and targeting 
  • Hands on keyboard media activation experience 
  • Passion for digital thinking, innovation, and ideation 
  • Agile marketing experience a plus
