Are you an aficionado for all things audio, video, and content creation? Are you eager to learn, grow, and hone your skills in marketing? Vortex® is seeking a Podcast Production Intern to elevate the Vortex Nation® Podcast experience. From recording and editing episodes, to bolstering our arsenal of Vortex Nation® Podcast projects, to organizing supplemental marketing assets, the Podcast Production Intern will be part of a team of creative thinkers constantly looking for opportunities to engage with our customers. 

This is a full-time, onsite, and paid summer internship located Barneveld, WI with a start date of late May/early June.

  • General support for all Vortex Nation Podcast production including filming, recording, editing, setup, and communications 
  • Work collaboratively with Audio Engineer to create rough edits for all Vortex Nation Podcast audio and video episodes 
  • Assist in recording of all Vortex Nation Podcast episodes 
  • Gather content and update communications for internal marketing assets 
  • Assist with setup for all company events that require audio and video streaming 
  • Create engaging title and description copy for various marketing collateral 
  • Organize and package podcast promotion assets to be delivered to guests to increase cross promotion opportunities 
  • Upload Vortex Nation Podcast episodes to all streaming platforms 
  • Monitor podcast analytics to assist in measuring and reporting on all applicable metrics
  • Assist in planning and execution of content strategies to effectively reach desired target audience 
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Degree or pursuing a degree in in Marketing, Video Production, Sound Engineering and Production, or related field 
  • 1-3 years of experience creating content for brands or organizations 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Audition and Premiere Pro 
  • General understanding of various audio/video equipment including, but not limited to, PTZ camera system, audio recorders, and public address systems 
  • General understanding of live streaming for web distribution 
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, but also complete individual work 
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once 
  • Confidence to take constructive criticism to become the best you can be
