What You Need:

  • At least 3 years of digital marketing experience 
  • Expertise in strategically developing and managing digital and pay-per-click advertising based on analyzing client’s situations, goals, and budgets from campaign inception to management and growth. Since this is the largest aspect of this position, we are looking for someone proficient in at least three of the following (note we list them in order of our importance)
    - Google Ads
    - Facebook / Instagram Ads
    - LinkedIn Ads
    - Display Ads
    - OTT 
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics 
  • Data reporting & analytical skills: pulling data, creating data tables, translating and using data to glean insights, inform strategy, and make recommendations. To put it another way, you absolutely must be able to interpret complex data and present actionable information with valuable insights above and beyond saying that numbers went up or down. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets; VLOOKUPS, pivot tables 
  • Requisite emotional intelligence and soft skills to not only maintain but grow client relationships. This role is client-facing 
  • Impeccable time management skills 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Curiosity and a strong desire to always be learning with a growth mindset 

Extra Credit:

We are not expecting someone to have all of these, however, the more you have the better your chances. For transparency, we are listing the following in order of importance:

  • Expertise/experience with data aggregation and visualization tools like Google Data Studio, SuperMetrics, Power BI, or Tableau 
  • Google Ads or other paid media certifications (currently active) 
  • Strong familiarity with competitive intelligence tools such as SEMRush, SpyFu, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, etc 
  • Agency experience 
  • Search engine optimization experience 
  • CRM/Marketing Automation/Email marketing experience 
  • Digital brand activation skills 
  • If applying outside of the Madison area, successful remote work experience.
