PR Account Executive/Sr. PR Account Executive

Seeking a PR pro with solid agency experience in B2B and corporate communications who is looking to move to the next level in a fast-paced environment where they can be an impact player.

We’re seeking a PR Account Executive and/or Senior PR Account Executive with solid agency experience in B2B and corporate communications (expertise in professional services and/or manufacturing sectors a plus).The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional looking to move to the next level in a fast-paced environment where they can be an impact player.Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain vigorous account activity, using strategic PR plan as a framework.
• Prepare compelling, strategy-driven written communications including, press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, monthly newsletters, internal communications and other materials as needed.
• Create and update effective strategic public relations plans and present them at internal meetings as well as client meetings.
• Oversee media contact lists and press materials including press kits, media training binders and other materials as needed.
• Proactively pitch purposeful client and agency news stories to local and national print, online and broadcast media outlets.
• Develop and execute media training and coaching for individual and group clients.
• Collaborate with account managers to meet client objectives and provide maximum ROI.
• Work cooperatively with all levels of staff and management.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree (journalism, communications, ad/pr or marketing preferred)
• Exceptional media relations skills, with a proven record of accomplishment in trade and/or business media
• 3+ years agency PR experience AE, 5+ years for SAE
• Proven technical writing experience Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Confident presence and business style
• Passion for working with other talented professionals in a creative, collaborative and fast-paced environment
