PR Account Executive

We’re looking for a Public Relations Account Executive to join our growing team. The qualified candidate will have strong foundational public relations experience and working knowledge of how to apply social media content and influence in the real world.

This is an opportunity for the right candidate to work alongside and learn from highly experienced PR professionals. This is to say: We have a great team. The candidate for the AE role will be creative and entrepreneurial. The AE will develop media lists, pitch media, and write compelling content. Strong writing skills are a must, but the work you'll do won't stop there. You'll also work with content creators and influencers, journalists and producers as well as celebrities and corporate executives. You'll plan events, analyze social media, track media placements, and more. We are looking for a positive, energetic professional, a problem-solver, and an idea-generator.

The PR Account Executive will be a key player on major accounts by providing exceptional day-to-day tactical execution. This will include high-touch client counsel, results reporting, and writing compelling media materials that allow you to engage with journalists and producers. Every journalist wants a fresh, interesting story - you'll help them.

Tasks will also include:

• Pitching, reporting and networking with reporters, editors, creators, and influencers 
• PR and social media account execution 
• Social media channel management
• Management of editorial and event calendars

• You must be professionally curious while always maintaining a desire to tell the next great story for your client 
• You must be self-motivated and action-oriented with a can-do attitude
• You must possess relentless attention to detail and be an effective multi-tasker 
• You must be able to write for news media
