We specialize in branding, public relations and inbound marketing fundamentals for businesses, trade associations and nonprofits. Position Details

PR Account Executive
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

From product rollouts and events to brand positioning and stakeholder communications, our team of dialogue starters knows how to make stories soar. Quite frankly, it’s our calling card. The PR Account Executive will be a critical player on major accounts by providing exceptional day-to-day tactical execution. This will include client consultation, tracking media results, writing compelling media materials, and engaging with journalists and producers.

Tasks will also include:

  • Pitching, reporting and networking with reporters, editors, producers, bloggers and influencers
  • PR and social media account execution
  • Management of editorial and event calendars
  • Fulfillment of client contracts while maintaining budgets
  • All aspects of project management
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns for clients
  • Create social media strategies that achieve our clients’ objectives


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field

Previous Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of 5–7 years of job-related experience 
  • Requires demonstrated knowledge in the areas of public relations, writing, media and communications 


  • Plan, prioritize and organize work effectively
  • Balance many projects simultaneously
  • Work under pressure and time deadlines
  • Analyze data and recommend solutions
  • Clearly define, explain and implement PR strategies, and create successful marketing and business development activities
  • Identify strategic brand visibility opportunities
  • Deliver all assigned activities on-time and within budget 
  • Ability to evoke creative and innovative thinking from others
  • Influence peers and/or individuals higher in rank
  • Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, accuracy, persistence and dependability
  • Requires strong organizational skills
  • First-rate proofing skills and attention to detail a must 


  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • A keen sensitivity to relationship management and development
  • Requires discretion and discernment for industry-specific sensitivities
  • Requires excellent professional presentation skills 


  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook 
  • Experience with PR-specific programs 
  • Familiarity with press engagement tools 
  • Basic understanding of metadata and SEO a plus
