An internship with Moon Landing will give you a wide range of public relations, communications and marketing opportunities. You’ll assist the team in providing public relations support, including writing press releases, developing social media content, graphic design and more.

Public Relations Responsibilities:

  • Assist with writing and distributing press releases
  • Conduct market research for clients 
  • Update and maintain media distribution lists
  • Assist with digital marketing tactics such as SEO, Email Marketing, Social Ads, and more
  • Contact and help to manage social influencers on behalf of clients
  • Assist with planning and executing special events
  • Maintain and develop content for client and agency social media accounts
  • Participate in team brainstorms and creative sessions

Applicable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of basic web design – HTML, WordPress and similar programs a plus
  • Knowledge of basic social media platforms and graphic programs
  • Graphic design skills are a valued asset and proven ability in these areas will give you an advantage versus candidates that do not
  • Ability to learn and use cloud-based, collaborative platforms (such as Google Drive)
  • Be a dependable team player able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Have strong writing skills
  • Be able to manage numerous projects simultaneously and be highly organized
  • Hold interest in public relations, communications and digital marketing
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Intern must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours a week between 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday

The internship is unpaid, though school credit is offered and encouraged for students who qualify. You'll work closely with experienced industry pros, learn a ton, and maybe even have some fun in the process. We're located in the hip Walker's Point area and have been known to brainstorm over a beer on our elevated patio or at a neighborhood spot. Parking is free and available. Interns can expect to build their portfolio to a professional level by working closely with clients.
