Who you are

You are a motivated, problem solver who can elevate branding across Colliers' Northwest region. You have a strong background in creative writing and corporate messaging with a knack for building compelling content. As a PR and Communications professional at Colliers, you will seamlessly work between departments to build brand visibility, establish market credibility, and drive the valuation of brokerage service lines.

What success looks like

  • You will deliver on the brand PR & Communications strategy to elevate brand awareness for Colliers brokerage services to audiences 
  • You will delivering traditional and digital brand and client and campaigns working alongside Corporate marketing teams 
  • You will assist in the development of communications plans for corporate and trade initiatives, drafting communications messaging and presentation materials, creating thought leadership positioning, and creating a standardized process for Colliers participation in public-facing events 
  • You will create communications assets, such as magazine articles, marketing materials, promotions, web materials, social media posts etc. related to assigned programs. 
  • You will draft content (e.g. press releases) for media or websites 
  • You will work with other departments to implement strategic communications initiatives, including marketing efforts and execution/development of marketing/communications plans. 
  • You will assist with media relations, from the development of proactive client campaigns to the efficient reactive management of direct inquiries 
  • You will assist with aligning internal and external communications initiatives to positively promote brand, client and employee messages to all core audiences internally and externally

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, Communications or related field required. 
  • A minimum of 3+ year’s progressive experience in a similar role – prior experience in the commercial real estate industry preferable. 
  • Advanced Microsoft applications experience (Excel, Word) 
  • Capacity to write and generate content with strong editing and proofreading skills with an emphasis on business writing and an understanding articulating client value 
  • Ability to work as a team player 
  • Ability to shift priorities and deliver projects on a timely basis 
  • Well organized and with excellent time management skills and ability to interface with top level executives 
  • A strong work ethic, the strength to thrive in a dynamic and demanding work environment, and an ability to meet critical deadlines

Bonus skills and experience

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Experience with project management software 
  • Background in data analysis
