Summary Description:

Hiebing is seeking an Account Coordinator for our PR, Social Media and Content department. An integral position within the agency, the AC will provide ground support in the development and execution of client- and agency-related public relations and social media plans.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations: Coordinate media relations efforts, including identifying appropriate media contacts, building contact lists, developing engaging pitches, reaching out to media and tracking efforts 
  • Social Media Creative: Coordinate social media efforts, including editorial calendar development, assist in project management of creative asset development 
  • Social Media Monitoring: Listen and develop responses to social media conversations and trends across social media daily 
  • Measurement: Assist in gathering data for measurement reports 
  • Research: Aid in research for planning, story development and issues important to clients, contribute marketing and creative ideas and observations at planning and throughout the year 
  • Writing: Channel the strategy and client’s voice to develop clear and compelling communications, including press releases, social content and blog posts

Work Skills:

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and take ownership of work 
  • Promptly seek help or counsel when needed, from appropriate senior staff 
  • Collaborate within the department and with other agency departments 
  • Assist in agency projects such as client events and phone duty
  • Relevant experience (internship or full-time) 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • This position is a hybrid position. 
  • You must be able to be on-site Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday weekly
  • Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
