The Producer takes ownership of the management of complex and high-end campaign video, photography, animation projects and processes, as well as delegating tasks and reporting on the progress of the projects to both the internal team and the client. The Producer is responsible for seeing video, photo and animation projects through the agency from estimating to final delivery. It is the Producer’s responsibility to ensure optimal efficiency with process and budget throughout the entire lifecycle of projects. This includes working cross functionally with copywriting, accounts and video/animation/photo teams to ensure proper communication is maintained.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce, execute and monitor the scope of work, timelines and budgets for projects 
  • Manages and directs all phases of video production 
  • Schedules projects, coordinates production staff and equipment 
  • Works with the HR department and the Video/Photo Department Director to identify freelancers and negotiate contracts as needed 
  • Devises and maintains efficient processes Liaise between clients, creative team and the accounts team to ensure projects are on time and industry standards are being properly executed 
  • Produces multiple projects at one time 
  • Guides clients through the pre-production, production and post-production processes Engages directors through all phases of production as needed 
  • Assists other producers, crew members and with studio coordination as needed 
  • Assists with the management and maintenance of equipment 
  • Maintains an understanding of all current equipment and media distribution methods 
  • Assists in training producers and other members of the agency in production workflow 
  • Travels as necessary

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ year experince in a producer role or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Project management experience a plus 
  • Experience working in fast paced environments 
  • The ability to collaborate, inspire and push team to deliver high quality work 
  • Proactive approach to project management 
  • Problem solves in a quick and efficient manner 
  • Able to take direction 
  • Professional and customer service orientated 
  • Knowledge of digital production processes 
  • Associates degree or higher in video/television/broadcast production or related field
