Responsibilities:

The Product Market Manager is a key member of the team, where collaboration and an open, respectful culture are essential. In addition to being the main contributor in creating the overall marketing strategy, this position directs all go-to-marketing activities for new product or service releases as well as drives continued sales growth through innovative, integrated marketing activities in partnership with corporate and publishing marketing teams as well as other partners. This position will balance customer experience, targeting and messaging with relevant product positioning and communication to drive annual sales and grow our customer base. To be successful, the individual in this position must be an innovative, strategic thinker, collaborative relationship builder and excellent communicator who is willing to roll up their sleeves and efficiently get the job done.

  • Develop cohesive and profitable marketing strategy for assigned product and service lines that not only achieves business goals, but the broader strategic goals of Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation 
  • Build Relationships and Collaborate with Key Strategic Partners, both internal and external 
  • Responsible for managing expenses, achieving annual revenue/margin targets, and driving future growth 
  • Ensure successful campaign planning and execution that integrates marketing and sales activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or related field 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing/communications; 
  • 3 years of experience in strategic planning 
  • Thorough understanding of inbound and outbound marketing, content and digital marketing best practices 
  • Ability to perform complex tasks, re-prioritizing as necessary to meet deadlines and achieve goals 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business to Consumer experience 
  • Agency background 
  • Qualitatively driven, letting data drive recommendations 
  • Publishing experience 
  • Direct experience in healthcare, mental health or addiction recovery specifically
