About our group:

Seagate Cloud Product Marketing team is responsible for marketing the world’s most popular hard disk drives to the largest cloud computing providers. This team excels in understanding the unique needs of large-scale data centers and the cloud computing industry. The team members are experts in B2B marketing strategies, focusing on building long-term relationships with key industry players. We leverage our deep knowledge of cloud computing trends, artificial intelligence applications, and storage technology advancements to position our products as the go-to choice for hyperscalers.

We are looking for a summer intern to play a key role in understanding the market, our competitors, our customers and the dynamics of growth, demand, and market trends. Typical working hours areMonday thru Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm. The hours are subject to change with or without notice at the sole discretion of Seagate.

About the role - you will:

  • Research market information and trends, 
  • Collect and analyze customer business metrics, 
  • Collect and analyze competitive intelligence, and 
  • Create analytic and predictive models for planning our business.

About you:

  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to find hard-to-find information. 
  • Analytical: comfortable with collecting, analyzing and summarizing data.

Your experience includes:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Advanced business analytic tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics, Python, R) a plus! 
  • Building analytic and predictive models 
  • Researching market trends 
  • Pursuing an bachelor’s or masters degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics or related areas and returning to school Fall 2024semester.
