The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and promoting product lines to customers and internal team members. This includes understanding products, customer needs, requirements, and trends in the industry. The Product Marketing Manager is the primary contact for the product lines and viewed as the company expert.

What you'll do:

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmaps company-wide
  • Provide product leadership and marketing of lines in terms of strategy, management, and support
  • Strategically manage product life cycles from introduction to end of life
  • Develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategies
  • Educate and train internal team on product lines, promotions, programs, etc.
  • Support customers with onboarding, product and programs training, presentations, events, and tradeshows
  • Ensure marketing communications are streamlined and coordinated internally, including development and distribution of materials and media
  • Oversee business and market development for product lines, performing research and planning for promotion and advertising direction
  • Support sales team with direction and rationale for promotions on product lines to ensure customer engagement
  • Develop and implement a strategy to grow product lines with current purchasing customers and new customer acquisitions
  • Analyze competitive pricing situations and strategy for reaction while working to maintain desired profitability
  • Manage and promote product line rebate programs, special pricing requests, project and builder quotes, etc.
  • Work with warranty team on claims processing per brand requirements
  • Establish and maintain key relationships with industry influencers, associations, and strategic partners
  • Travel with sales team to customers locations
  • Assist sales team in closing/capturing sales with key customers and prospects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers at all branch locations and ensure their satisfaction on a regular basis
  • Interact directly with Inside Sales, Territory Managers on product line questions
  • Develop and provide training opportunities for Sales on product lines (HARDI/Blue Hawk)
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned

What we're looking for:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree business, marketing or related preferred 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or similar role 
  • Prior HVAC related experience preferred 
  • Ability to analyze information to identify key trends and recommendations for process improvements 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and obtain results through others 
  • Ability to think ahead and plan over an extended period 
  • Strong customer support 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • High level of organization on multiple priorities while ensuring follow-through 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals 
  • Must possess initiative, balanced judgment, and the ability to plan
