We are currently seeking a talented Product Marketing Manager who wishes to share their resourcefulness, ideas, and expertise to build lasting relationships by providing the right solution to our customers. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

To manage all aspects of the Company’s product branding and marketing programs and processes, including private label product brand development and management, multi-channel private label product positioning, retail packaging, and retail store signage.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Develops product branding strategies that effectively position the Company’s private label products as a leader based on quality and value. 
  • Works with merchandising, advertising, and legal on the development of new private label brands, including applicable product categories, name, color, logo, packaging, and general brand strategy. 
  • Works with internal teams in advertising/creative, legal, and sales to advance marketing and sales of existing and new private label products, strategic channel marketing,and merchandising through all channels. 
  • Develops and manages processes to ensure consistency inthepositioning of all private label brands and products across all customer touch points. 
  • Works with merchandising and external product vendors to ensure that private label product packaging and on-product branding is consistent with intended strategy, that processes are managed to support quality and consistency withinbrands andensure that all product commerce dates are met. 
  • Maintains awareness of developments in product marketing for key retail and product competitors. Conduct regular competitive research to ensure the Company’s product marketing programs are appropriately synergized and/or differentiated according to intended strategies. 
  • Directs execution of plans for private label packaging and the retail sign program to analysts responsible for supporting the program. 
  • Manages the entire budgeting and planning process for the retail sign program. Partners closely with the department Director and other areas to ensure that expertise of all relevant areas is leveraged in creating impactful store signage. 
  • Provides clear and concise communication and direction to retail operations and retail stores on the retail sign program to ensure that resources and the customer experience are optimized. Works with the internal audit team to ensure that core parts of the sign program are correctly delivered by retail stores. 
  • Establishes and sustains interactive relationships with all external vendors and contacts to result in favorable networks to support the current and future goals of the organization and to benchmark practices/results against competition and to maximize organizational effectiveness. 
  • Supervises and manages assigned personnel as it relates to all projects or related work, establishing performance requirements, clarifying responsibilities, conducting performance appraisals and planning for individual employee development. 
  • Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates/communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and “team” approach. 
  • Performs related work as apparent or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance or a related field. 
  • At least 6 of experience in Marketing or position of similar responsibilities. 
  • Able to interpret Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and understands budgeting best practies.
  • Exceptional communication, creative, marketing, and project management skills 
  • Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of Company personnel. 
  • Strong Microsoft Office expertise with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Thorough knowledge of Marketing concepts, including product marketing and print processes. 
  • Demonstrated ability to create and sell concepts. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, to revise and to implement departmental operating policies and procedures. 
  • Demonstrated ability to satisfy user requirements and needs. 
  • Supervisory skills preferred but not required.
