Regal Rexnord’s Digital Team is looking for a dynamic, talented and experienced Product UX Designer. The Product UX Designer should have experience with all aspects of design and be a hands-on contributor in a fast-paced agile environment. You must have a passion for user-centric design and be a strong communicator. You must have the ability to identify alternative design strategies, assess design viability and rapidly transform business requirements into a user interface design

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops for gathering UX insights and direction.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders, and engineering teams to form user experience solutions. 
  • Actively seeks out feedback on his/her UX design concepts and deliverables. 
  • Conduct and analyze research findings and refine design approaches based on research results. 
  • Make recommendations, conduct planning, competitive analysis, and helps strategy; Research and recommend new offerings and solutions based on business cases. 
  • Creates user flows, wireframe specifications, prototypes and other necessary documentation to communicate the recommended user experience to stakeholders and development teams. 
  • Presents in-progress work, with work partners (business stakeholders, and development teams) to share design direction and gather feedback. 
  • Explores new design patterns and practices, enhancing methodological toolkit to enhance and improve the hotel colleague experience. Optimize digital experiences through use of UX best practices, testing and design patterns and the delivery of digital assets. 
  • Quickly iterates and refines design solutions through collaboration with the Engineering, Product Management and stakeholders.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years as a user experience professional 
  • Experience working as part of an agile team 
  • Possess strong conceptual and visual communication skills and have a solid understanding of interaction design and graphic design principles 
  • Be a strategic, brand oriented product thinker, with the desire to provide highly creative ideas for all your engagements 
  • Comfortable working within brand guidelines but also extending the design vocabulary as needed to create more engaging and accessible designs 
  • Have a proven ability to meet tight deadlines, with supervision, in a fast-paced and innovative environment 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency in tools such as Sketch, Adobe CS (XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign), and InVision 
  • Candidates will be expected onsite in our new downtown Chicago location approximately one week every six. Ability to be onsite 2-3 days per week is preferred
