The Production Artist develops and implements a wide variety of print and digital communications to promote HealthPartners products, programs, and services in the marketplace. This role reports to a Creative Manager and works with the art directors, designers, project managers and asset librarians to produce work consistent with the organization’s brand in a way that brings added value to the Brand & Creative team.

Specifically, the Production Artist will:

  • Produce print and digital marketing, including web, mobile, social, infographics, emails, posters, handouts, postcards, promotions, newsletters, billboards, and ads. Proof and prepare files accurately and consistently for print and digital production. 
  • Collaborate closely with art directors, designers, project managers and asset librarians. 
  • Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production. 
  • Prepare images for online and mobile applications. 
  • Communicate timelines and status to ensure projects move through the department in a timely manner. Prioritize tasks and successfully meet multiple deadlines daily. 
  • Thrive under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment while exhibiting high degree of efficiency, versatility, focus and extreme diligence in handling detail. 
  • Possess exceptional organizational, problem solving, and time management skills. Show initiative in working independently; ability to make decisions based on experience and expertise. 
  • Exhibit high level of technical skills along with proven design capabilities. 
  • Support template production of print and digital marketing. 
  • Support documentation of rules associated with templates and template creation. 
  • Be a champion for the brand and uphold standards in all deliverables. 
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, with a keen eye for aesthetic quality to successfully guide work. 
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in design or advertising. 
  • 3+ years of production experience in a business environment. 
  • Full understanding of graphic, print and photo reproduction process.
  • High level of technical skill with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. 
  • Knowledgeable in pre-press and digital space file preparation and best practices. 
  • Photo-editing, color-correcting and compositing skills a plus. 
  • Well-developed production skills, including print and digital. 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines. 
  • Demonstrates ability to give and receive direction. 
  • Strong attention to details

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working within corporate design standards. 
  • Knowledge of HTML5, Animate, Adobe After Effects, and Sketch. 
  • Ability to set up scripts to get work done more efficiently.
