Production Graphic Artist

We are seeking an experienced, self-sufficient Production Graphic Artist that wants to be a part of a growing company, where each employee is valued. pc/nametag®, a go-to resource for professional meeting planners nationwide, is looking for a Production Graphic Artist who thrives on deadlines and likes a fast-paced and fun work environment. As part of a professional art team, you will have the opportunity to work with the Sales staff and a multitude of customers in the Meetings and Events industry. You will play a vital role in making the customer’s job easier, while helping to make their events a success.

Typical duties include:

• Take the art/logo files supplied by our customers and tweak it to maximize the impact of the logo when it is silk screened, dye-sublimated, or digitally printed on name tags, lanyards and tote bags.
• Be responsible for creating, assessing and setting up art proofs for customer review.
• Work directly with the customer when needed, to provide detailed explanations of art requirements or restrictions. You will provide creative solutions to their needs.
• Have a good sense of design and color; and also be able to produce both volume and quality proofs.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in related field3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong technical capability including but not limited to Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, Fusion Pro, MS Word/Excel
• Comfortable operating on a PC platform
• Attention to detail, strong proofreading and editing skills
• Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM – 6 PM
