The Production Manager will be responsible for project tracking and managing the day-to-day operations of the UnitedHealth Group Enterprise Marketing Video team.

This position will support all projects and processes across the UnitedHealth Group Enterprise Marketing Video team, including collaboration with creative teams, videographers, post-production, freelancers, brand teams and studio project management team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Studio Operations Director to execute the video production process from concept stages through delivery 
  • Manage production schedule and project timelines in coordination with production process and communicate available capacity to video team 
  • Help assess project feasibility, projections, and scheduling resources 
  • Help manage internal and external resources including freelance resources 
  • Monitor and push for timely approval processes with internal stakeholders 
  • Maximize tools to manage intake requests from clients / partners 
  • Manage scope, schedules, timelines, budgets, assets and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon 
  • Use problem-solving and interpersonal skills to seek out project details, changes, and revisions, and resolve issues or missing information to provide clear direction to the creative/producing staff 
  • Use great negotiation and people skills to manage client and creative conflicts related to revisions, workloads, or timing/bandwidth issues 
  • Contribute to fundamental tasks such as sourcing files, folder structure set-up, file naming, and SOP (standard operating procedures) training basics to help manage work across producing and design staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 5+ years of experience in video production 
  • Experience working under tight deadlines 
  • Solid experience in project management, including agile methodology 
  • Solid working knowledge of both video and photo production 
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing

  • Communicating effectively one-on-one and in a large group
