The Programmatic Media Buyer is responsible for day-to-day set up, monitoring, and optimization of mobile performance campaigns across multiple programmatic buying platforms. Buyer should collaborate with all members of the programmatic team to reach campaign CPM and KPI goals while managing margin and ROI. The right person for this role should be eager to work in a collaborative environment but can also work autonomously and take ownership of assigned accounts/responsibilities.

This person is highly organized and possesses strong analytical skills required to provide insightful rationale for media plan and buy recommendations.

He/she will quickly become an integral part of the multi-functional team working to deliver communications solutions that lead to transactions for our clients. The ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-pace setting is a must!

 

 

Overall duties and expectations:

  • Partner with members of the sales and marketing team on campaign recommendations and strategies for clients and potential clients. 
  • Partner with brands on content solutions/paid social plans with OnMilwaukee that align with their goals. May include ongoing campaigns for large clients or for smaller scale clients in one-off campaigns, and is ad hoc at request of sales team. 
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging industry trends, platforms, and tools. Interest in expanding role to utilize marketing and advertising expertise deployed for LiFT Digital Media clients to serve OnMilwaukee projects 

Functional tasks:

  • Collaborate with Marketing Specialist to develop sales collateral for Lift Digital based on industry trends and ad tech research. 
  • Manage internal and external reporting best practices and automation to continually improve data visualizations for Sales Team and clients. 
  • Develop ongoing testing roadmaps for your channel(s) to continually improve performance Manage the building, optimization, and spending of campaigns in multiple DSPs and platforms including BASIS, DV360, Google Ads and Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Snapchat. 
  • Research industry trends and adtech and share insights with Sales Team to grow client opportunities and potential spending. 
  • A willingness to coordinate on programs for PR and community outreach 
  • Provide a quarterly report on OnMilwaukee social and site performance. 
  • Act as content solutions/paid social liaison for sales and editorial. 
  • Generate reporting through Sprout Social to view Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest data and Google Analytics to ascertain site performance. 
  • Maintain and ensure accurate, automated reporting members of the sales and marketing team on campaign recommendations and strategies for clients and potential clients. 
  • Partner with brands on content solutions/paid social plans with OnMilwaukee that align with their goals. May include ongoing campaigns for large clients or for smaller scale clients in one-off campaigns, and is ad hoc at request of sales team.

The right candidate will have at least 1-3 years planning/buying experience in a media, full-service or digital agency environment. This person should have experience in a variety of media forms but be resourceful and willing to learn.

The starting salary for this role is $47,000, but is negotiatble based on length and nature of previous experience.
