A Project Coordinator is a member of the Filament team and is responsible for working across all Key Business Areas (KBAs). A Project Coordinator is a multi-faceted team player who helps our teams achieve goals within Account Service, Communications, Business Operations and Creative, though this specific role will focus predominantly on Account Service with advancement towards the Project Manager role.

  • Support Account Service (and other KBAs as necessary) needs with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing projects such as email, event, digital, paid media, social media, content, creative and general project management 
  • To start, this role breakdown is approximately 75% Account Service and 25% across other business areas. 
  • Ability to remove barriers for internal team and client by proactively scanning and addressing potential issues 
  • Meet deadlines and prioritize based on multiple considerations (e.g., time, level of lift needed, experts to bring in, client schedules, budget, etc.) 
  • Ask investigative questions to clarify project scope and parameters 
  • Manage multiple priorities at once; can proactively communicate, delegate, or identify support 
  • Proactively manage short-term and long-term priorities with budget, deliverables, and resources in mind 
  • Quality control – checks all the details (proofing, copyright, links, logos) and ensure output accomplishes the strategy 
  • Proactively support team members 
  • Wherewithal to tap into subject area experts 
  • Demonstrates marketing acumen 
  • Basic understanding of data analysis
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline 
  • 0-2 years of marketing experience 
  • Organized and task-focused 
  • Initiative-taking individual who seeks solutions 
  • Excellent listening skills 
  • Maximize efficiency and workflow 
  • Clear written and verbal communicator 
  • Agriculture, specifically crops, experience is a plus (but not required) 
  • Full-time office-based role: Madison, Wisconsin (may also work from Delafield, Wisconsin as job permits) 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times 
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically for client needs and industry activities
