Position Summary:

If you are data driven, love marketing, and are interested in U.S. politics, then this position is for you! We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented individual to join our Strategy and Government Affairs team as Project Manager. This role is responsible for managing the development, implementation and deployment of advertising and brand marketing campaigns as it relates to the political sphere.

This position supports all elements of the campaign cycle; including ideation/strategic direction, kick-off meetings, management of end-to-end planning, providing regular status updates, KPI monitoring, metric reporting needs, and assistance in check-in/wrap up conversations.

Success in this role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously. We are looking for someone who can effectively juggle multiple timelines and resource needs, skillfully navigate and motivate cross-functional teams and provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders. This is not an entry level position.

But this isn’t just a job. This is an unique opportunity to drive change in the perception of gun ownership in America. Advocating for responsible firearm ownership and the fundamental right to self defense through grassroots advocacy, storytelling and mission-driven marketing is at the center of your work. Help save lives every day and join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Serve a primary project manager for government affairs and strategy teams.
  • Manage projects from start to finish. Lead cross-functional team meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and monitor priorities, communicate with stakeholders, ensure timely completion of campaigns, and analyze results.
  • Support external political initiatives focused on support of the 2nd Amendment. (i.e. United State Concealed Carry Association for Saving Lives political action committee)
  • Coordinate communication and project deadlines between internal marketing teams and third-party partners.
  • Manage and maintain campaign timelines, content calendar and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and graphic designers to craft and proof relevant content for brand advertising campaigns.
  • Provide regular updates to the manager, project coordinator, team leads and stakeholders; identifying milestones and elevating risks/challenges that may impact campaign delivery.
  • Manage sign-off points between stakeholders to ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and meet the highest level of quality.
  • Monitor and report on campaign and fundraising performance by leveraging internal analytics tools and teams.
  • Record all stakeholder creative brief information and interactions in our project management system.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Affairs, Political Science or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Marketer/Project Manager; 5+ years in this space.
  • Experience in digital marketing and brand building through advertising campaigns is preferred.
  • Holds basic understanding of the U.S. political and governmental landscape.
  • Ability to make strategic and logical decisions on brand marketing deliverables that properly depict our audience and subject matter.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Operates with a high level of professionalism both in person and while communicating via phone/email.
  • Ability to problem solve. Can navigate and troubleshoot complex challenges.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter who takes pride in not just meeting deadlines, but beating them to a pulp.
  • Hungry to immerse themselves in proven marketing strategy. Must be driven by performance, not by what “looks cool”.
  • Able to accomplish projects with little supervision. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can easily adjust when priorities change.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally and personally.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
  • Can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of firearms, firearm safety and proper handling a plus; a willingness to learn a must.
  • Experience and strong proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office; specifically Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrates the Core Values of Delta Defense, LLC.
