Position Summary:

At FCB Chicago, the Project Management group facilitates process, systems, and solutions. We establish structure, solve problems, mitigate risk, and minimize distractions in order to elevate client work and relationships on our teams.

The Project Manager is the source of key project information on their assigned account. The PM understands how projects impact one another and leverages this knowledge to provide solutions as projects change.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiates and leads multiple, moderately complex projects on an assigned account 
  • Defines project timelines and resource estimates with input from other disciplines and support from Senior Project Manager as needed 
  • Coordinates project resource assignments with Discipline leads and Creative Resource Management team 
  • Partners with production leads to build timelines that meet the creative and production needs of the agency and client 
  • Actively manages project timing and resource assignments in Project Management software 
  • Monitors project scope and informs Account partners of scope creep and impact on resources/OOP estimate 
  • Prepares and maintains clear, accurate project documentation, including project plan, status report, and resource requests/assignments 
  • Schedules internal meetings, defines the agenda, and provides actionable recaps to cross functional team, ensuring knowledge-sharing throughout the project timeline 
  • Engages subject matter experts in relevant stages of the project for their thought leadership 
  • Proactively identifies and communicates risks to team members, working with Leads to identify and implement solutions 
  • Champions and follows agency best practices on assigned projects and account 
  • Builds meaningful relationships with team leads and members

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of project management experience in managing 360 integrated and digital programs, agile experience a plus 
  • Self-driven and not afraid to actively collaborate with other agency groups and disciplines 
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organizational skills 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools 
  • Experience using project management/workflow and resourcing software 
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant experience required
