ZEBRADOG, an internationally-recognized Facility Brand Integration firm in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a passionate Senior Project Manager to assist in the leadership, coordination and orchestration of our signature projects. We create specialize in Museum, Visitor Center, Corporate Office and Specialty Exhibit design with an emphasis on Interactive Media installations.

ZD Project Managers juggle several projects with myriad budget and time requirements; deliver superior client service; communicate and organize flawlessly on projects ranging from exhibit programs and signing systems, to integrated displays and large format graphics; understand the construction, fabrication and installation process and can work with sub-contractors.

You would be responsible for integrating your skills with a senior design team, clients and vendor partners. This is a fulfilling position promising a fresh new experience each day with great people and an amazing studio culture. 

Some responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and prioritizing the work of the team members, work groups and contractors to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Developing action plans for design, fabrication and installation
  • Working with interdepartmental exhibit teams and outside consultants in organizing exhibit content and design objectives.
  • Coordinates the collection and use of content assets that make exhibit content relevant.
  • Conducts formal and informal research to ensure that the exhibits being planned are accessible, engaging and relevant to visitors.
  • Producing production estimates and tracking budgets to keep projects within estimates
  • Managing the budget process, reviews and scope revisions for your projects
  • Accountable for meeting all project deadlines
  • Interacting with Clients, Architects, Interior Designers, Urban Planners and Media Professionals
  • College degree plus min. 4-6 years in PM capacity within the creative arts, architecture or construction industry
  • Understanding of the building construction process
  • Ability to read and comprehend architectural drawings and models
  • Knowledge of the intricate workings and problematic details of the graphic arts industry
  • Experience creating project scope and budget documentation
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead client-facing discussions
  • Sense of humor and life experience a must
