Proposal and Communications Coordinator
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

The Proposal and Communications Coordinator is part of a dynamic team working in a deadline-oriented environment. Responsibilities include coordination of the proposal development process, defining key messages and firm differentiators, and ensuring quality and accuracy of all deliverables. The Proposal and Communication Coordinator must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, strong writing and some design capabilities, strong customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The position involves daily interaction with the Marketing Director and key leaders to support business development and marketing activities.

  • Manage the proposal development process including content strategy, layout, key messages, organization of internal team members and adherence to deadlines
  • Work collaboratively to develop proposal messaging and differentiators 
  • Manage proposal schedules, deliverables, tasks and timeline
  • Create presentations, resumes, project descriptions and marketing collateral
  • Attend client and community events as a CGSchmidt representative
  • Utilize and update information within the customer relations database 
  • Coordinate integrated marketing campaigns, supporting referendum efforts as needed 
  • Drive efficiencies in our marketing processes, managing key assets and quality
  • Coordinate with clients, team members and vendors to develop and produce marketing collateral
  • Offer innovative and creative approaches to disseminating company messages
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, withat least three to five years of experience 
  • Above-average proficiency and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel andPowerPoint
  • Professional services (Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development) experience preferred 
  • Cooperative, constructive, positive and respectful attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail 
  • Project management skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and timelines
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically
  • Experience in proposal preparation in response to request for proposal or sales estimating/quoting process 
  • Experience tracking marketing performance
