The Tri-North team is looking for a creative, motivated Proposal Specialist to provide marketing expertise and support to our nationwide team. This position is based in our headquarters in Fitchburg, WI and reports to the Vice President of Marketing. Tri-North is a national general contractor consistently ranked as a best employer.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the writing, editing, and production of responses to Request for Proposals and Request for Qualifications.
  • Collaborate with team members across our five nationwide offices to gather necessary information in order to author high-level proposals and interview presentations.
  • Create engaging written content for award nominations, project descriptions, case studies, team biographies, sales support materials, marketing collateral, articles, blog posts, social media posts, talent outreach & retention efforts, and company presentations.
  • Stay on top of current projects, services, and company news to support ongoing business development pursuits and marketing efforts.
  • Edit materials prepared by team members to ensure consistency with company brand message.
  • Harvest information from internal team members and various sources of documentation to develop and maintain accurate and engaging stories.
  • General marketing support including assistance with coordinating tradeshows, branded clothing and promotional item purchases, seminars, community outreach efforts, and company events.

 

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign
  • Knowledge of construction, architecture, or engineering industry (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, journalism, or related field (preferred)
