Position Summary:

As a public policy manager, you will be an integral part of Epic's public policy team and help strengthen Epic’s relationship with government entities by representing the company in a polished, organized, and informed manner through regular verbal and written communication. You will be responsible for the initial analysis of regulatory and legislative proposals, managing the subject matter review process, formulating positions, writing comments, and tracking the development of proposals. You will be in direct contact with policymakers and stakeholders in Washington, DC and have the unique opportunity to attend meetings in our nation’s capital. Overall, this position will allow staff to invent and build new processes for Epic's government relations team and be proactive in helping to manage and establish workflows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or greater (any major) 
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience 
  • A history of academic and professional success 
  • Willingness to travel 25% 
  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  •  Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed) 
  • COVID-19 vaccination
