We can’t overemphasize how important it is that you have experience working with business-to-business clients or have done public relations work for a tech company. On a daily basis, it will be your job to translate complex technical ideas into understandable pitches for media and junior staff.
Obviously, this position will also encompass the standard aspects of PR and media relations: writing releases and contributed articles, actively pitching the media, and helping manage accounts. We expect that you will have experience in social media and be able to constantly generate innovative ways to share client stories with the press.
