Public Relations Manager

THE CHALLENGE:

broadhead is looking for a PR and social media enthusiast to join our PR team. As a Public Relations Manager, not only will you work with clients and the integrated broadhead team to produce engaging social content, you will also show off your ability to seamlessly manage social content, longer form content writing, media relations and more. You know what plays well on social media and thrive on generating engaging conversations. Your exceptional coordination across departments makes you an invaluable team member, and you never shy away from your commitment to share your "can do" attitude.

THE LIFE:

Day-to-day work life will include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Daily management of client interactions. 
  • Social content and community management on all of the top platforms. 
  • Developing interesting, engaging social content hand-in-hand with creative teams. 
  • Quickly getting smart on topics and writing engaging articles, native ads and press releases.
  • Fearlessly advocating for clients through media relations, partnerships and influencer relations. 
  • A commitment to providing actionable metrics to clients and always testing and learning to improve results. 
  • Demonstrating how you love to think above and beyond expectations on tasks, as well as seek out new PR opportunities for clients and your team alike. 
  • An awareness that no day is the same: Sometimes, you'll be off at a trade show or event, and other days, you'll be leading content ideation and creation.

THE MEASURABLES OF SUCCESS:

Every job has a level of abilities and expectations; here are a few of ours:

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, advertising or marketing. 
  • 2+ years of agency or related experience. 
  • Experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Social buying a plus. 
  • Agriculture experience strongly preferred. 
  • The talent to smile while sweating under a tight deadline or two. 
  • Aptitude for the details while keeping client objectives in mind. 
  • An insightful eye that is up on industry news and trends, especially in social/digital. 
  • A superb understanding of social media and a desire to create best-in-class content. 
  • A natural curiosity. 
  • An everyday, ready-and-willing attitude to find successful solutions. 
  • A+ in written and verbal communication. 
  • The willingness to travel as dictated by client and/or company needs. 
  • Stellar teamwork. Period.
