Position Summary

As a Public Relations Manager, not only do you effortlessly anticipate your client's needs, you do so while demonstrating your masterful communication-resolution skills. You have a keen eye for social media and thrive on generating increased publicity for clients. Your exceptional coordination across departments makes you the Harlem to our Globetrotters, and you never shy away from your commitment to share your "can do" attitude.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Daily management of assigned workload, completing projects as assigned on time and on budget. 
  • Advocating for client, supporting the client strategy in all assigned work including, media relations, partnerships, influencer relations. 
  • Uses approved messages in completing day-to-day work for the client. 
  • Working with account team, PR team and senior leadership to review and present concepts for approval. 
  • Researches information and resources to include in new business responses as assigned. 
  • Pulls metrics for client reports as assigned. 
  • Maintains media contacts and assists with pitches as needed. 
  • Demonstrating how you love to think above and beyond expectations on tasks, as well as seek out new PR opportunities for clients and your team alike. 
  • No day is the same: Sometimes, you'll be off at a trade show or event, and other days, you'll be assisting the PR team with content ideation and creation. 
  • Constant collaboration. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned from time to time to meet the changing needs of the agency.

Education + Experience

  • 1+ years of agency or related experience. 
  • Agriculture experience strongly preferred. 
  • Degree in communications, advertising or marketing or equivalent experience preferred.
