Public Relations Specialist

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Public Relations, will handle public relations administration duties, writing, media relations and work closely and collaboratively with a team in developing and activating PR plans and tactics, content and social media strategy.

The successful candidate will be a nimble multi-tasker capable of managing multiple PR and content projects and deadlines with ease and a high degree of detail and organization, a strong writer, communicator, team player, and a creative thinker with a strong interest in media (traditional and social), storytelling, research and success in turning ideas into PR wins. 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication or other relevant area along with a minimum of three years of experience in communications, public relations or a related field. Knowledge of PR trends, understanding of SEO, backlinks, keywords and hashtag strategies important. Position involves occasional travel.
