We’re seeking a Public Relations (PR) Specialist to join our crew. The ideal candidate is currently working in the PR field, but we’re open to talking with recent grads who have the right stuff. A PR Specialist at Celtic helps our clients communicate with their key stakeholders, including the media. This position requires strong communication skills, both written and oral. 

PR Specialist responsibilities at Celtic include:

  • PR planning
  • Writing (B2C AND B2B)
  • Media relations (ex. media pitching, story coordination, etc.)
  • Media training
  • Event coordination
  • Content development (ex. case studies, blog posts, etc.) 
  • Ongoing client communication
  • Reporting

A successful PR Specialist at Celtic displays these qualifications:

  1. Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  2. Solid interpersonal skills
  3. Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
  4. Ability to generate earned media for clients 
  5. Nurture relationships with clients and the media
  6. Work independently but enjoy collaborating with co-workers and clients
  7. Positive, can-do attitude  
  8. Experience working with Cision and Burrelles is a plus
  9. Bachelor's degree in PR, communications or related field
