About The Role

You will be joining our Global Marketing Team, where we play a pivotal role in driving company growth through effective and innovative marketing strategies to build brand awareness. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Supplier, and Data & Digital team, you will ensure seamless alignment and execution of marketing initiatives.

To be successful in this role requires a combination of public relations expertise, event planning skills, and marketing knowledge to enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation. As an internationally focused role, the ability to work in a multicultural team is a must for us! What you will do?

What you will do?

Media and industry outreach:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry-specific media outlets, trade publications.
  • Pitch and secure media coverage, including interviews and feature articles.
  • Collaborate with industry organizations and associations to promote Waldom's programs.

Event Promotion and Participation:

  • Plan and coordinate participation in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
  • Promote these events to maximize engagement with distributors and manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with event organizers and partners to leverage our presence.

Content Creation:

  • Develop press releases and other content relevant to the electronic components industry.
  • Coordinate the distribution of content to reach key distributors and manufacturers.

Reporting and Performance Metrics:

  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns targeting distributors and manufacturers.
  • Prepare regular reports on PR activities and their impact on our target audience.
  • Adapt and adjust strategies based on performance metrics.

What you bring to the table!

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience needed, familiarity with industry specific media and associations ideal. 
  • Demonstrated portfolio of public relations and marketing events will be requested. 
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to drive mutually beneficial agreements. 
  • Proficiency in PR & Marketing software and Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Can conduct analysis on marketing campaigns. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with key stakeholders.
