We're fast-moving, rapidly growing and revel in our ability to deliver earned media, consistently and on target. We're seeking to hire a full-time Recruiter for the Midwest US region to join our rapidly growing Talent Acquisition team. 

This recruiter will help grow our team on both the junior and senior levels. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned recruiter whose talents are aligned with our business goals, and who has the ability to identify and attract the most optimal fits for our agency. The candidate must have prior recruitment experience in public relations/communications with a strong focus in the Midwest.

Responsibilities/required skills include:

  • Proven experience in recruiting for public relations/communications positions.Recruiting experience outside of the public relations/communications industry will not be considered.
  • Partner with the agency President to determine staffing needs.
  • Screen resumes and perform phone (or Zoom) interviews with candidates.
  • Administer appropriate company assessments or writing tests.
  • Perform professional reference checks.
  • Provide applicant recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Coordinate interviews with the agency’s senior leaders and serve as an overall liaison.
  • Follow up on interview process status.
  • Maintain relationships with both internal and external partners to ensure staffing goals are achieved.
  • Communicate employer information (i.e. benefits, perks, work environment etc.) during interview process.
  • Stay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practice.
  • Actively source candidates for open positions using all possible recruitment methods (e.g. software such as Recruiter Flow, postings, social networks, referrals and contacts).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High-energy, mature and well organized.
  • Proactive with an all hands-on deck attitude.
  • Capable of working successfully within a team as well as independently.
  • Must be self-disciplined and able to work hard remotely.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of recruiting experience
  • Public Relations or social media recruitment essential
  • Proven track record of successful recruitments

Salary: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year based on experience.
