The Regional Marketing Consultant will serve in a consultative manner as a bridge between the sales/marketing organizations and local retailers and is responsible for the strategic development and execution of consumer-based, market-specific marketing programs. This role merges an understanding of local regional markets with national marketing priorities to identify and sell strategic business-building opportunities into regional groups. You will work cross-functionally with the wider marketing department, sales leadership, territory account managers, and merchandising, to develop and execute in-territory campaigns that drive incremental sales and foot traffic in assigned regions. Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).

  • Consults with individual retailers to provide marketing education, guidance, and recommendations. 
  • Works with multiple stakeholders (e.g., retailers, planning teams, etc.) to develop the go-to-market plans, advertising campaigns and media strategies for multiple retailers with a regional market. 
  • Identifies and executes individualized campaigns that support sales goals and marketing objectives. 
  • Partners with sales organization to gain regional group participation; 
  • Partners with creative/content teams on regional content strategy/needs. 
  • Works with channel partners to deliver media strategy/execution. 
  • Project manages overall plan to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and meets objectives. 
  • Supports the customization of marketing materials to meet individual store needs. 
  • Supports the launch/execution of marketing programs for all stores and onboarding for new stores. 
  • Introduces and drives adoption of marketing capabilities. 
  • Works with leadership to ensure local campaigns align with business goals, strategy, and direction.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • 5-7 years of field marketing experience with a proven track record of executing effective marketing and partner campaigns that drive sales. 
  • Knowledge of the latest marketing channels, tools, and technologies. 
  • Experience partnering directly with marketing, sales, and retailers to achieve shared objectives. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven. 
  • Familiarity with media-buying, planning and research. 
  • Experience managing multiple projects and tasks. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Travel: Travel may vary in length and duration.
