Position Details

Regional Sales Manager
Southeast Wisconsin
Chicago, IL or Waukesha, WI

KHL Group Americas, the leading supplier of international construction information in the world, is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the engine, component and gas compression markets.

Based in either Waukesha or Chicago, this role is intended to manage a defined sales territory for four print & digital publications and events. Managing existing relationships and realize growth potential in the region. As part of our sales team this role will engage with engine, hydraulic, mechanical components manufacturers as well as all components that go into the engine powered equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory.


  • Provides responsive sales assistance
  • Visits engine, hydraulic, mechanical components manufacturers on a regular basis
  • Assists with the development of assigned area and account responsibilities from a total sales support perspective
  • Assists with the development and monitors sales forecasts for account and market area responsibilities
  • Pro-actively identifies business opportunities for KHL Group America products, develops and executes strategic proposals and follows through to fruition
  • Presents professional sales presentations
  • Develops and maintains deep knowledge of KHL Group America products, applications and policies
  • Participates and supports customer, promotional and exhibition events


  • Strong ability to assimilate, organize, prioritize and manage information related to customer and corporate requirements. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. 
  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Strong presentation skills. 
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work effectively with different cultures.

  • Ability and willingness to travel, domestic and international.
