Sales & Marketing Coordinator

The employee in this role will coordinate a variety of new business and marketing-related projects for the agency by coordinating pitch processes and activities, gaining consensus on sales and marketing materials, organizing input from internal subject matter experts, and researching new outreach opportunities. The coordinator will report to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager and be part of the corporate Sales & Marketing team, which manages strategy, content, digital marketing, events and other initiatives.

The core function of this role is to support new business development, so this individual is naturally team-oriented, collaborative, and enthusiastic about achieving shared goals.

Only local candidates (or those planning to relocate) will be considered for this role. Although most of our staff is currently working remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in the long-term this position is expected to be primarily office-based.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work as a liaison between marketing and sales, facilitating and coordinating meetings and projects 
• Manage RFI, RFP new business process working closely with agency leadership and team content writer 
• Assist marketing team in the development and organization of new collateral, content and sales experiences 
• Research companies, buying groups, prospects and share findings/ideas 
• Work with Demand Operations team to coordinate telemarketing, email outreach and other sales efforts 
• Assist marketing team and other agency leaders with the development and execution of various additional sales and marketing related strategies as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• 2-3 years’ experience working in a business setting, in a marketing or sales capacity 
• Highly developed communication skills 
• Ability to listen and take direction well, with the ability to follow through independently with a project once assigned 
• Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and deadline-meeting skills 
• Confident and collaborative demeanor 
• Diligence in attention to detail 
• Proven skills utilizing MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Saleforce.com, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Trello a plus 
• Must be responsible, dependable, and organized Bachelor's Degree preferred
