Saturn Lounge, a newly acquired division of Kalmbach Media Co., is a full-service creative marketing agency looking for a Sales & Marketing Specialist to join the team. The position works with the sales team, internal stakeholders, and clients to close deals and execute results. If you are a passionate sales professional who can work with a sales team to create detailed estimates and proposals for prospective clients, this is the job you’re looking for! You will also lead the companies internal marketing efforts creating content for social media and newsletters, and build presentation decks that display the capabilities of Saturn Lounge.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the sales team in creating estimates for the client. Consult with creative teams and client services on the hours needed to execute a project. 
  • Work with client services on the various aspects of a job. Assist with setting up tasks in the job management system (Function Point) 
  • Create proposals for clients detailing every aspect of the potential job. Work with the sales team on revisions to the proposal based on client feedback. Lead the hand-off process after the job is approved to internal stakeholders. 
  • Create targeted sales presentations and portfolios, strategically selecting and organizing the most relevant assets for each prospect. 
  • Assist the sales team with managing and inputting client and prospect data in the companies CRM system (Zoho). 
  • Spearhead the Saturn Lounge marketing efforts through social media, newsletters, case studies, or paid campaigns.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Sales, Marketing and/or Communications 
  • 2+ years’ experience in a sales support role, agency experience is a plus 
  • Familiarity with client proposals and client estimates in a sales environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to create proposals and presentations incorporating photo assets and examples as needed. 
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
