The Sales and Marketing Specialist is both creative and sales-savvy. This position is responsible for creating and executing sales and marketing strategies that promote products and services, sustain revenue growth, and drive customer engagement through effective marketing strategies, communication, and lead generation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and Product Specialist teams to identify and capitalize on market opportunities. 
  • Develop promotional materials, such as print/digital creatives. 
  • Maintain organization of sales and marketing literature/ordering process and training materials. 
  • Craft written communication that is creative and technical. 
  • Schedule content launches using CRM (Hubspot) and other “go-to-market” platforms including social media and paid ads. 
  • Grow our social media platform by engaging in all platforms; responding to comments and reviews. 
  • Monitor sales and marketing campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets/revenue. 
  • Fulfill promotional campaigns and communicate results. 
  • Develop and maintain prospect pipeline using sales and marketing tools. 
  • Actively follow up on incoming leads via email and phone calls to grow sales pipeline through Hubspot. 
  • Develop, submit, and distribute various sales and marketing reports/market fund claiming. 
  • Plan, promote, and execute the event details for special events such as promotional and educational events. 
  • Collaborate with others in the department who also plan events and assist in event planning and execution as needed. 
  • Attend conferences and networking events to promote the company's products and services. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Follow brand standards on all digital assets/platforms. 
  • Participate in and promote continuous learning and development through training initiatives such as MN Air University, HR programs, tech-support courses, and webinars. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Proven ability to write copy that captivates our customers and prospects. 
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects with attention to detail, avid follow-up, and adherence to deadlines. 
  • Familiarity with a customer relationship management platform (such as HubSpot), project management tools (such as Teamwork), and apps within the Microsoft 365 suite, or a demonstrated interest in and ability to learn new digital tools quickly and well. 
  • Highly organized approach to all marketing tasks to ensure schedules, files, and expectations are in good order. 
  • Versatile in communication with precision in written and verbal forms, and a firm grasp on grammar and style.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, Art or a related field 
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience 
  • Minimum of 6 years combined equivalent education and industry experience will also be considered 
  • Upbeat, driven individual with strong visual and creative skills for digital communications 
  • Experience in project management
