Liturgy Training Publications is seeking a Sales Supervisor to provide general sales department oversight and review, working with staff in order to maintain an effective system for prompt and accurate response to customer orders, inquiries, and complaints. This position will also be the key representative for international distributors, building relationships, enhancing our exposure to the marketplace, handling all aspects of sales to that market, and recommending product.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with people and have the ability to analyze information and sales data in order to develop plans to meet sales goals. As the supervisor of the sales department, the role will coordinate with the sales staff to implement the plan, making adjustments as needed. The position requires someone with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, while providing consistent follow up and follow through.

Experience Required:

Candidates must have a minimum three years’ experience in sales, preferably bookselling or in customer service. A high school diploma is required; college courses/degree a plus. Supervisory experience and strong mentoring skills a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to prioritize multiple projects and possess good time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Church with ability to explain related product to customers is a plus. Strong verbal and written skills, and an ability to communicate with others in a productive, growth oriented manner. Strong, decision-making skills with ability to negotiate resolution to problems and provide complete customer satisfaction. Computer efficiency and understanding of multiple applications including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and database software. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
