Position Details

Salesforce Administrator
Northern Illinois
Harvey, IL

We are currently searching for a Salesforce Administrator to be based out of our Harvey, IL facility. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this person will be a key contributor on the corporate marketing team and will work closely with the Salesforce Admin/Developer to maintain and improve Atkore’s Salesforce organization, promoting ease of use and global user adoption.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent understanding of CRM’s impact to the business; with at least five (5) years’ experience in Salesforce development. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and manage user profiles, roles, leads, and contacts. 
  • Ensure page layouts, fields, and objects are up to date for optimal user experience. 
  • Create dashboards and reports for visibility to key insights. 
  • Manage data hygiene with deduplication tools. 
  • Provide user training for new functionality. 
  • Gather requirements from users to identify improvement areas. 
  • Manage user profiles, roles, permission sets, assignment rules, and license types. 
  • Onboard new users and provide training and documentation on Salesforce usage. 
  • Create and customize standard and custom objects including fields (including formula fields), page layouts, security rules, workflow and validation rules. 
  • Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation. 
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent 
  • Understanding of CRM’s impact to the business. 
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Salesforce development required. 
  • Experience with CPQ systems preferred. 
  • SFDC admin certification preferred. 
  • Direct experience working on CRM projects for global enterprise-sized companies. 
  • Strong project management skills coupled with proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments. 
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or other business system based company is a plus.
