The Salesforce, CRM Administrator is responsible for moving sales-business processes onto Salesforce to increase efficiency, improve the reliability of the system data, increase reporting capabilities, integrate marketing campaigns and improve our overall usability and adoption. Responsibilities will include all technical aspects of CRM administration. This position will also work closely with our IT department and outside Vendors to integrate Salesforce with other business systems when necessary.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive understanding of Salesforce.com administration tasks including creating profiles, roles, users, page layouts, email alerts and communications, data management, approvals, workflows, reports, dashboards, tasks and events
  • Act as the primary point of contact for our Salesforce-related relationships, often acting as the project manager for Salesforce development projects completed through external vendors
  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, analytic snapshots and reports, including development of custom reports and dashboards. Will require development of validation rules and custom workflow and approval processes
  • Ensure our Salesforce data integrity, working to consistently clean data through audit processes and issue resolution
  • Develop primary data analysis tools and reporting vehicles to support business strategy planning and tactical programs development
  • Recommend, implement, test, deploy and train end users on configuration improvements
  • Collaborate with users to identify best practices and opportunities to streamline procedures; execute those ideas from start to finish
  • Develop and maintain training materials and documentation for users, as well as train new users and assure adoption of best practices by existing users. Continuously work to increase adoption rates and establish consistency across users.
  • Special projects and duties as assigned
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two or more years of Salesforce.com or comparable CRM experience required
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and communicate across multiple levels of business
  • Computer skills, including intermediate MS Office Suite applications with advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and organize technical or project requirements for implementation of large projects
  • Strong customer service orientation Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Self-motivated and directed; able to take initiative with projects
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and to handle other computer components
