Are you looking to join a fast paced and growing team of search marketing professionals? We are a fun and hard working group who are passionate about helping our clients from a wide range of industries exceed their goals. We do this by creating new, innovative SEO campaigns and executing existing campaigns. The Search Marketing Associate is a part of the broader RyTech SEO/SEM team. We focus on growing clients' organic presence on search engines and placing clients in front of their potential customers. Search Marketing Associates are also responsible for day to day communication and monthly reporting with clients to ensure tactics & strategies are properly communicated and implemented.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Implement search campaigns; take direction from the Search Marketing Manager while also bringing a unique point of view and thoughts 
  • Assist in the rollout of effective search engine optimization strategies, including on-site (content) and off-site (link building) projects 
  • Research potential keywords/content topics for customers and have the ability to identify primary/secondary/tertiary keywords based on volumes, relevance and competition 
  • Write content in a variety of voices - including service pages, location pages, blog posts, product pages, etc. 
  • Ability to identify technical optimization weaknesses as well as implement or recommend fixes across a variety of content management systems 
  • Work directly with Advertising, Email, Social Media & Web Design Associates to ensure consistency across campaigns & marketing platforms 
  • Lead in biweekly or monthly reporting, as needed for clients across a variety of verticals
  • Google Analytics and Ads certification preferred

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing. Additional general marketing experience preferred, but not required 
  • Comprehensive data analysis and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong writing skills and previous proven success writing content in a variety of voices 
  • Ability to devise strategic recommendations based on findings 
  • Strong project management skills. You know when to self-solve and when to seek guidance. You aren’t afraid to ask for direction from others. 
  • Well organized, able to balance client timelines and business needs 
  • In-depth understanding of keyword research and the ability to identify potential keyword targets based on search results and competition 
  • Ability to identify technical optimization weaknesses as well as an implement or recommend fixes across a variety of content management systems
  • Experience with website analytics tools, particularly Google (e.g, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Data Studio) 
  • Experience with CMS platforms, including Wordpress 
  • Working knowledge of basic HTML 
  • Knowledge of the commonly used SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc. 
  • Enjoys operating at a fast pace while staying flexible to shift tasks frequently
  • Hybrid Remote (3 days in office; 2 days remote) 
  • Salary, starting at $45,000/year; dependent on experience
