Senior Account Executive, Account Integration
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive, Account Integration. Contributing to the success of one or more accounts with the core responsibilities for project management, building, and scaling content programs on assigned accounts. In partnership with the Account Supervisor/Account Director/VP, Account Integration, the Senior Account Executive will lead internal teams to deliver work that is on strategy, on time, and on budget. Successful candidates will have experience leveraging search engine and audience data to inform content, running A/B tests to hone paid, earned, and owned content performance, and project managing to deliver work/content that’s on time, on strategy, and on budget.

The following is a summary of the specific areas of responsibilities and the expected skill set of a Senior Account Executive team member.

Senior Account Executive, Account Integration

Primary Responsibilities:

Overall Client Leadership

  • Serves as primary client liaison on project management-related work. Has excellent written communication and clearly articulates project goals, objectives, and updates in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the client’s overall business, brand vision, and strategy for assigned accounts. Meets with Advisory counterparts on an ongoing basis to stay informed of updates/pivots to strategy and adjusts production/project management responsibilities and deliverables accordingly.
  • Delivers excellence on behalf of BVK and our clients. As such, is seen as a leader on the account from both an internal and client-perspective when it comes to executing and delivering on SOWs.

Content Strategy

  • Serves as the Content Strategy lead for a client or project, crafting and selling the most appropriate content solution.
  • Leads building and management of paid, owned, and earned content programs.
  • Works independently and as part of a cross-functional team of strategists, project managers, creatives, and technologists
  • Leverages user research to identify content needs and gaps across stages of the user journey

Business Development

  • In partnership with the Account Supervisor/Account Director/VP and Account Advisory team, supports organic growth efforts of assigned accounts.


  • Assists Account Supervisor with Scope of Work development utilizing BVK process/tools.
  • Once SOW is approved, leads corresponding estimate development something about tracking performance against SOWs and estimates.
  • Provides input/recommendation for project invoicing for Account Supervisor’s review.
  • Handles billing resolution issues with clients.
  • Continuously manages budgets/hours on jobs to avoid overages/write-offs.
  • Seeks insights from past projects to optimize future work related to efficiency and profitability.

Project Management

  • Manages client project initiatives from start to finish with limited/minimal oversight. Gains necessary internal/client approvals and keeps clients informed of pertinent updates.
  • Owns project management timelines and internal communications. Manages day-to-day process on assigned accounts by identifying, communicating, and confirming deliverables of all team members and clarifying ream roles and responsibilities, as required.
  • Maintains/oversees status report updates and participates in/leads client status update meetings.

Training/Supervision/Agency Performance

  • Mentor AAE's/AEs on project management using BVK AI best practices. Includes status updates, written client/internal comms, timeline development, and invoicing recommendations.
  • Potential for direct management of junior team members.
  • Contributes to internal team members’ performance elevators upon request.

Required Skills/Experience /Competencies:

  • 6+ years agency or comparable business/client-side experience with a strong grasp of the brand and digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of partnering with UX, creative, and technology
  • Strong understanding of user-centered content strategy principles and best practices
  • Passion for digital trends and emerging technologies Experience with SEM and SEO, including keyword research, organic and paid search
  • Familiarity with digital CMS, marketing technology platforms, and best practices
  • Proven success as a Project Manager. Has to experience:
  • Balancing multiple initiatives, clients, deadlines, and teams.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to produce work that’s on time, on budget, and on strategy.
  • Utilizing data to drive strategy/project next steps.
  • Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills both internally and with clients.
  • High sense of urgency and has an innate sense of curiosity about problem-solving and learning
  • Has previous experience managing client budget tracking and invoicing
  • Ability to pivot/course correct without becoming overwhelmed
  • Exemplary organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
  • Projects confidence in front of clients and large internal teams
