Provides day-to-day executional support or monitors overall status of work amongst the team. Acts as a key client partner by analyzing program results and providing recommendations for future programs. Ensures agency success by serving as the creative and executional lead for programs providing insight and ensuring that deliverable deadlines are met.

What You'll Do:

Partner with client and Strategic Planning to manage and create creative briefs and manage projects in accordance with agency procedures

Evaluate copy, layout/artwork, media plans and productions materials and make suggested revisions in keeping with agreed upon strategies and business objectives

Serve as creative and executional lead for overall programs; lead the day-to-day creative conceptual development of client marketing programs from start to finish

Keep agency team informed of client requests and changes

  • Anticipate potential problems and implications associated with requests
  • Develop and execute solutions in alignment with client request and agency procedures

Work closely with client and Creative, Strategic Planning, and Account teams to provide support and identify opportunities related to the Strategic Planning process

Analyze program results, summarize findings, and recommend program enhancements and/or changes to improve going forward

  • Assist senior leadership in the development of program recaps and associated presentations for clients based on analysis of results and recommendations

Lead meetings and deliver presentations both internally and with the client

Monitor status of work in progress as well as client budgets; review estimates/billing and approve invoices

  • Lead internal status meetings with Finance and Project Management to keep internal teams updated on the status of projects

Track budgets; notify manager of client requests that fall outside of scope; revise budgets as needed; alert client of financial implications and secure approval to proceed

Train AAE’s and AE’s in marketing, account management, client management, and agency procedures

Provide oversight to junior team, growing their skills and determining when appropriate for them to take leadership with projects or client and internal discussions

Adhere to agency process and financial policies; identify ways to improve processes

Our Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or the equivalent combination of education and experience

4-6 years’ experience in Experiential Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Events and/or Sponsorship Activation

Comprehensive knowledge of client category and business objectives, and a clear understanding of the key strategic issues that impact the client’s business

Strong attention to detail and organization, demonstrated through actions such as:

  • Effectively proofing own and others work to ensure accuracy
  • Actively and effectively managing timelines, budgets and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Developing and archiving all key project documents in an easy to identify format for historical reference

Ability to communicate clearly, thoroughly and succinctly both verbally and in written form

Ability to analyze results, interpret data, draw sound conclusions, and develop insightful and actionable recommendations

Proactive approach, demonstrated through actions such as:

  • Providing regular and thorough project updates to manager and team
  • Anticipating potential problems and obstacles to project success, communicating concerns and developing solutions
  • Keeping abreast of category trends and sharing information/learnings with team members
