Position Details

Senior Account Manager
Twin Cities Metro
Minneapolis, MN

Position Summary:

The Senior Account Manager role is a critical one when it comes to keeping everything on track, moving forward and ultimately providing a really great client experience.

As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll be managing the details of highly integrated projects with an eye on the bigger picture. You’ll be working with project management, creative, public relations, social, paid media teams and more to bring to life ideas that help clients achieve goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned projects, proactively bringing work forward and help to identify where things can be managed more smoothly. 
  • Manage client budgets and scopes-of-work 
  • Provide team support including building presentations, developing project request, managing status reports and budget tracking 
  • Work closely with project management, production, creative, media and public relations and know where your projects are in the process. 
  • Manage the routing of work externally with clients. 
  • Able to manage more complex projects with moderate amount of direction from manager.
  • Proactively alerts manager of any issues or watch outs. 
  • Helps ensure teams are in sync and they have what they need to move forward. 
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Client Relationship Role

  • Day-to-day client contact with moderate supervision 
  • Prepare and handle hospitality needs for in-person client meetings. 
  • Builds relationships with appropriate levels within the client organization. 
  • Manage external routing.

People Management/Work Direction

  • Mentor and coach coordinators and interns.

Education + Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 4-5 years’ progressively responsible experience in an agency is helpful. 
  • Familiarity with WorkFront and ProofHQ or other project management system a plus. 
  • Agriculture background will be helpful, but not necessary.
