As a Senior Account Manager at SixSpeed, you will leverage your experience to support our clients in an independent, but supported way. Sr. Account Managers translate their obsession with our clients’ businesses and brands into concrete, trusted partnerships. You'll support clients and co-workers by anticipating questions before they are asked and having solutions before problems arise. We are looking for someone with a passion for all aspects of program development and who approaches their role as an opportunity to help make all team members' jobs a little easier. No schmoozers here – just solid, business-oriented individuals who are likable, capable and have the desire to make some waves.

THE TASK AT HAND:

  • Build and maintain strong active relationships with key client stakeholders; acting as the primary point of contact for multiple assignments 
  • Establish and maintain credibility and leadership with the client through strategic thinking and the use of sound judgment when solving problems 
  • Leverage understanding of the brand, client and our core competencies to ensure the right questions are asked related to client requests, to ensure we have a clear understanding of the work that is requested 
  • Manage client expectations and provide conflict resolution 
  • Manage client budgets and work with internal teams to find solutions to fit client needs 
  • Offer new solutions and creative problem-solving 
  • Lead strategic brand and marketing planning and execution

Account Management

  • Lead and manage annual account planning and financials for assigned accounts 
  • Confidently partner with Connections and Creative Teams to shape project direction 
  • Develop and present quarterly business reviews to senior management 
  • Collaborate with and lead internal teams to create great work, sell in, and execute well 
  • Share client business information so that the entire team has the appropriate understanding of client information and knowledge 
  • Explore the industry landscape and available resources to provide additional knowledge, information and perspective to the team and client 
  • Sell and up-sell ideas to clients to address their business needs

Process Management

  • Define goals and objectives of a project with the client and populate the creative direction portion of the brief with tight details 
  • Prepare and present proposals, scope of work documents, and estimates with clients 
  • Co-lead project kick-offs, account status, and debrief meetings with the internal team 
  • Be the voice and buffer between your clients and SixSpeed (and vice versa) 
  • Work with Project Management to oversee creative and production process, acting as the “eyes” of client 
  • Work with Experience Team in client communication, meetings and experiential planning 
  • Manage SixSpeed’s business as it relates to your clients

WHO ARE YOU:

  • You have 5-7 years of Account Management experience in the marketing or advertising and agency realm 
  • You tout a bachelor’s degree 
  • You expect to run things on your own and enjoy doing so 
  • You’re always thinking about what’s next and determined to find a way 
  • You’re obsessed with asking questions and digging deeper 
  • You’re a natural at being a trusted partner, building and maintaining relationships 
  • You are passionate about building brands and finding new opportunities for them to grow 
  • You have a natural sense of urgency and work well under pressure 
  • You know when to slow down in order to speed up 
  • You’re comfortable in almost any situation 
  • You’re genuine, relatable and believable
